Common Room founders Stephanie and David have dedicated themselves to supporting children and young adults with Autism. They have raised over $25 million for autism-related initiatives and played a key role in supporting Aspire, a Mass General program that specializes in helping children, teens and adults on the autism spectrum achieve success.
David is the former CEO of Liberty Mutual Group and currently serves as Executive Chairman of its Board of Directors. Stephanie has extensive experience working with young people in a private school setting, having served as a house parent, in development and event planning, and as an archivist for nearly a decade.

Tom is a municipal law attorney and partner at Miyares and Harrington LLP, serving as Town Counsel for Wellesley, Littleton, Norfolk, Carlisle, and Templeton. He has previously served in elected positions in Wellesley and on the board of Roxbury Community College’s Center for Environmental Education.
As an entrepreneur and investor, Dan has spent his career founding and building culture-driven businesses. He is also active in autism-focused initiatives, including founding projects such as Rolling for Autism and Chitarra Pastaria, helping to expand opportunity and inclusion for neurodiverse adults.
As Founder and President of the Liberty Mutual Foundation and Senior Vice President of Community Investments, Melissa built one of the nation’s most respected corporate philanthropic programs, helping guide nearly $1B in donations to more than 8,700 nonprofits, and earning the organization national recognition.
